Us & the Place

Our farmhouse is located in Cibottola, 17 km from Lake Trasimeno and Perugia, 25 km from Tuscany. Sorrounded by nature, with a 360 ° view over the incredible umbrian countryside. The main cottage has 9 bedrooms (4 self-catering apartments) and a small cottage with 1 apartment, a large porch with relaxation area, table tennis, billiard and soccer table, a large shared kitchen, a wood oven, bbq and private swimming pool. The location can accommodate up to 20 people, 18 in the large cottage and 2 in the bugalow. It is ideal for groups of friends, large families or people who want to enjoy absolute privacy. The exclusive use of the swimming pool is guaranteed.

Our family (two small dogs and two cats), has chosen to live in this place of absolute peace, where contact with nature is immediate, intense. We think that sharing the space with our guests, respecting their privacy, enriches the mutual path of life. We love sharing experiences such as cooking as culinary traditions of our region are rich and infinite. We are always happy to organize special events such as evenings with pizza and bread bakeing in the old wood-burning oven, or to prepare tomato preserves, or teach how noodles are made together with our local trusted cook.

In addition to the passion for cooking, we are passionate about outdoor sports, discovering unique places, small villages … we like to guide our guests for a simple run or walk in our company, yoga under our olive trees, long trekkings or mountain biking in along the many routes offered by the region, visits to farms / vineyards, local crafts. It is our pleasure to indicate hidden corners of the main cities, or to visit less known villages. Umbria, as well as the neighboring Tuscany, Lazio, Marche, Abruzzo, are regions with a cultural, food, wine and natural heritage of immense value. The possibilities to visit these regions are endless and we will be happy to show you some solutions that will be suitable for your requests.

The farmhouse, located near some of the most beautiful villages in Italy (Panicale, Città della Pieve, Montepulciano, Montefalco, Civita di Bagnoreggio), small gems such as La Scarzuola, is an ideal base for all those who want to visit these pearls and get lost among the medieval alleys, be part of festivals such as Umbria Jazz in Perugia or the Festival of 2 Worlds in Spoleto, learn about wineries such as those of the Strada del Sagrantino (Lungarotti, Caprai, Adanti, Perticaia, Raina, Scacciadiavoli) or the cellars of the Colli del Trasimeno (Berioli, Azienda Agraria Carlo and Marco Carini, Castello di Magione, Duca della Corgna, Il Poggio, Le Querciolana, Madrevite, Montemelino, Cantina Nofrini, Podere Marella, Pucciarella, Terre del Carpine), and the cellars of Orvietano – Orvieto (Lapone, Cantina Foresi, Cantine Neri, Cantina Altarocca, Azienda Agricola Custodi, Agricola Sassara Luciano, Bigi, Decugnano dei Barbi, Tenuta Le Velette, Tordimaro, Palazzone, Castle of Corbara, La Carraia); 40 minutes by car you can also visit Montepulciano with its typical cellars.
