TASTINGS. The local farms with whom we collaborate, organize guided tours for our guests, where you can learn how the various stages of wine and oil production take place. Olive oil tastings. Visit of the olive grove and tasting of olive oil from the  Vecchio Piantone farm, where it‘s possible to learn how the olives are harvested, taste the various types of olive oil, enjoying the classic bruschetta together with the products that the farm produces (vegetables, compotes, honey …). Wine tasting in Umbrian cellars. In the Trasimeno area and close to our property, there are many wineries with which we collaborate (Cantina Castello Monte Vibiano, Tiberi Vini Artigianali, Cantina Scacciadiavoli…). Based on the needs and requests of the guest, we offer different alternatives of tasting routes in the cellar.

RELAX. Yoga and Pilates in nature. In addition to trekking and jogging, it is possible to join us for a yoga session by the pool; or for Pilates lessons (in July and August, lessons are organized 2 times per week) under the old olive trees that surround our property together with the teacher Agnese Belardi. Birdwatching. In a just 17 km drive, you can immerse yourself in nature, in the Oasi Naturalistica La Valle, which is located along the shores of Lake Trasimeno; here a small coop manages the natural heritage of the Trasimeno by organizing environmental education courses, guided tours for an educational ecotourism, aimed at professional naturalists, nature lovers, families, …

SPORT. Trekking. We love nature and the fact that surrounds us; we like to discover it together with our guests along  various paths, just outside the property. Mountain bike. In addition to trekking, and some Nordic-walking with the teacher Daiana Federici, it’s possible to book for you a personal mountain bike guide Leonardo Liuzza  who will take you in to the most suggestive corners of Umbria. Sailing-Canoes. At only 20 km, along the shores of Lake Trasimeno in Monte del Lago, in the Acqua Dolce Sailing club, you can rent motor boats, sailboats and canoes: a different way to discover the Trasimeno, a fascinating and enchanting place , whose banks and waters offer opportunities to discover history, to be enchanted by legends, to enjoy nature and have fun with recreational and sporting activities.

COURSES. Pottery. In collaboration with the ceramist  Carla Corna di Deruta, we organize (on request) short ceramic courses in the property at the end of which each participant will have completed a drawing on ceramic that will take home as a souvenir. Painting. The course is organized annually, in September in collaboration with the Swedish artist Nils Mattsson; the duration of the course is 1 week during which the participants learn the watercolor technique. In addition to painting, participants will have the opportunity to learn about local farms, visit villages such as Panicale and Castiglione del Lago, draw inside millenary abbeys (Abbazia dei Sette Frati). Cuisine. One of many passions, is cuisine, the typical, local, simple one. Getting to know Umbrian women with this great passion and sharing a culinary experience with our guests is our great joy. Pizza – knead and bake pizza with a real chef-pizza chef, know the secrets of a good dough, its digestibility and bake pizza in our wood oven …. what more could you ask for?

ACTIVITIES . Olive harvesting . In October and November, the air smells of olive oil, the sound of the leaves, the branches that are combed and shaken by the farmers, the families, their chat under the olive trees … all this is part of the period of the olive harvesting. Our guests can be part of this intense and beautiful experience, taking home olive oil, memories of days full of sharing, moments full of scents and sounds of nature. Shopping zero km. There are many small farm and craft realities, with whom we collaborate (L’Orto di Marta, Caseificio Fontemanna). Dairies, butchers, beekeepers, producers of vegetables and organic fruit, bakeries, are just some of the possibilities where you can stock up on excellent local products.
